Giulia Casoni (; born 19 April 1978) is a retired Italian tennis player. As a junior player, she won 1996 French Open in doubles, while her best professional results include singles quarterfinals at the Internazionali Femminili di Palermo in 1999 and Tier I Italian Open in 2000, and three WTA Tour doubles titles. She was a member of Italy Fed Cup team from 2000 to 2001, and won three doubles titles at WTA tournaments. Casoni defeated players such as Dominique Monami, Katarina Srebotnik, Mariya Koryttseva, Francesca Schiavone, Émilie Loit and Nuria Llagostera Vives. She also won four singles and 27 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Casoni retired from professional tennis in 2006, after struggling with a knee injury. Ruxandra Dragomir
Ruxandra Dragomir Ilie (born 24 October 1972) is a retired tennis player from Romania. She won four singles and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour during her career. The right-hander reached her highest individual WTA ranking on 25 August 1997, when she became the No. 15 of the world. Between 2009 and 2013 she was the president of Romanian Tennis Federation. Alice Canepa (; born 30 April 1978) is a retired tennis player from Italy. Her highest singles and doubles rankings are No. 158 and No. 93, respectively. Biography In her career, Canepa won a total of 24 titles (19 in doubles) on the ITF Women's Circuit. She has reached the doubles final of the WTA Tier IV tournament in Palermo three times. Her biggest ITF title came when she won the doubles of the $50k event in Marseille in 2000. Francesca Schiavone (; born 23 June 1980) is an Italian former professional tennis player. She turned professional in 1998 and won the 2010 French Open singles title, becoming the first Italian woman to win a Grand Slam event in singles. She was also runner-up at the 2011 French Open. Her career-high ranking is world No. 4, achieved on 31 January 2011. To date, Schiavone is the last one-handed-backhand player to win a Grand Slam title on the women's tour. Mariya Serhiyivna Koryttseva ( uk, Марія Сергіївна Коритцева; born 25 May 1985) is a Ukrainian former tennis player. On 18 August 2008, she achieved her career-high singles ranking of world No. 50. On 23 June 2008, she peaked at No. 39 in the doubles rankings. Career Koryttseva made a surprising run to the final of the Sunfeast Open, held in Kolkata, in September 2007.
