Alice Canepa
Alice Canepa (; born 30 April 1978) is a retired tennis player from Italy. Her highest singles and doubles rankings are No. 158 and No. 93, respectively. Biography In her career, Canepa won a total of 24 titles (19 in doubles) on the ITF Women's Circuit. She has reached the doubles final of the WTA Tier IV tournament in Palermo three times. Her biggest ITF title came when she won the doubles of the $50k event in Marseille in 2000. She has also competed on the Grand Slam tournaments on numerous occasions, but was unable to make it past round two in doubles and qualifying in singles. Canepa retired after losing in the doubles final of the event in Palermo on 22 July 2007. Michaëlla Krajicek ( cz, Michaela Krajíčková; born 9 January 1989) is a Dutch former tennis player. She won three singles and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as one WTA 125 tournaments, WTA 125 doubles title, and 14 singles and 22 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Janette Husárová (; born 4 June 1974) is a Slovak former tennis player. On 13 January 2003, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 31. On 21 April 2003, she peaked at No. 3 in the doubles rankings. She won the WTA Tour Championships women's doubles title in 2002, partnering with Elena Dementieva. With Dementieva, she reached the final of US Open doubles competition in the same year, losing to Virginia Ruano Pascual and Paola Suárez. Ruxandra Dragomir Ilie (born 24 October 1972) is a retired tennis player from Romania. She won four singles and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour during her career. The right-hander reached her highest individual WTA ranking on 25 August 1997, when she became the No. 15 of the world. Between 2009 and 2013 she was the president of Romanian Tennis Federation. The Internazionali Femminili di Palermo, also known as the Palermo Ladies Open, is a women's tennis tournament in Palermo, Italy that is played on outdoor clay courts at the Country Time Club. The first two editions were part of the Satellite Circuit, but since 1990 it has been part of the WTA Tour. The tournament was categorized as either a WTA Tier IV or Tier V event from 1990 to 2008 and became an International Tournament in 2009. In 2014, the license for the event was sold to Kuala Lumpur's Malaysian Open for 6 years (contract for 3 years with an option for additional three).
