Ginihila
''Ginihila'' is a 2003 Maldivian horror film directed by Easa Shareef. Produced under EMA Productions, the film stars Ali Seezan, Mariyam Nisha, Reeko Moosa Manik and Niuma Mohamed in pivotal roles. The film is an unofficial remake of Vikram Bhatt's Indian horror film '' Raaz'' (2002) which itself is an unofficial adaptation of ''What Lies Beneath''. Easa Shareef
Easa Shareef is a Maldivian film director, actor, screen-writer, editor and lyricist. Career In 1993, Shareef collaborated with Yoosuf Rafeeu for his tragedy drama film '' Vaudhu'' (1993) which narrates the separation of a happy couple due to the societal differences. The following year, he directed and starred in the critically acclaimed film '' Zakham'' (1994) where he played the supportive brother of a young girl who has been forced to marry out of her will. In 1996, he directed the film '' Edhuvas Hingajje'' which follows the love triangle of a devoted wife, a reckless husband and his short tempered mistress. This was followed by Yoosuf Rafeeu's award winning film ''Haqqu'' which revolves around a man who is forced to marry a woman against his will, and stars Mariyam Nisha, Reeko Moosa Manik and Mariyam Shakeela in lead roles. Niuma Mohamed
Niuma Mohamed (pronounced ; 20 October 1977) is a Maldivian film actress, director, and producer. The highest-paid actress in Maldives, Mohamed is the recipient of several awards, including two Gaumee Film Awards, and four Maldives Film Awards. She holds the record for collecting all three Maldives Film Awards for Best Actress in a feature film. In 2011, the Government of Maldives honoured her with the National Award of Recognition. Mohamed was born in Vaadhoo and raised in Male'. Ibrahim Wisan
Ibrahim Wisan (born 27 February 1977), nicknamed as Kandi is a Maldivian cinematographer, actor and director. Career In 1996, Wisan starred in Mohamed Rasheed's '' Hifehettumeh Neiy Karuna'' opposite Niuma Mohamed, Abdul Raheem and Arifa Ibrahim. He again collaborated with Arifa Ibrahim for her drama film '' Dhauvaa'', an unofficial remake of Deepak Sareen's Bollywood film '' Aaina'' (1993), where he reprised the role played by Deepak Tijori in the original. Aishath Gulfa
Aishath Gulfa is a Maldivian film actress. She made her screen debut in 1999 with the video single "Nala Nala Dhanvaru Feni". Mariyam Nisha (born 19 May 1979) is a Maldivian former actress. Early life Nisha was born on 19 May 1979 in Dh. Rinbudhoo. Ali Seezan (born 6 February 1977) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, director and producer. He has established a career in Maldives Film Industry and is a recipient of two National Film Awards. Early life Ali Seezan was born on 6 February 1977. His parents Fathimath Waheeda and Abdul Rasheed are not active members of the film industry, though his father has worked in arranging stage shows for many events. Abdul Bari Aboobakur commonly spelled as Abdul Baree (20 March 1967) is a former Maldivian singer.
