''Get It Right'' is the twenty-ninth studio album by American singer Aretha Franklin, released on July 14, 1983, by Arista Records. It was produced by Luther Vandross, following his successful teaming with the singer for the Gold-certified album, ''Jump to It'', in 1982. ''Get It Right'' was not as commercially successful, and Franklin did not have Vandross produce any further albums. The disc's title song became a number 1 hit on ''Billboard''s R&B singles chart, but it stalled at only number 61 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The album was a critical and commercial failure, selling about 200,000 copies in the US. It was re-issued on compact disc in the late 1990s. Joe Fagin (born January 1940) is a British pop singer-songwriter. He is best known for the 1984 chart hit "Breakin' Away / That's Livin' Alright", and for singing a version of " As Time Goes By" for the 1990s BBC comedy series of the same name starring Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer. Biography Fagin was musical director for Jim Davidson, including his 1983 Falklands tour. "Breakin' Away" / "That's Livin' Alright", the opening and closing theme songs to the first series of the comedy-drama ''Auf Wiedersehen, Pet'', which as a double A-side reached number 3 in the UK Singles Chart in January 1984. Gary Walker (born Gary Leeds; March 9, 1942) is an American musician, who was the drummer and vocalist with both the Standells and the Walker Brothers. He has been credited as the catalyst in bringing the unrelated Walker Brothers to the UK in 1965 where, for a couple of years, they enjoyed commercial success. He had two minor UK hit singles while still a member of the group in 1966. The Walker Brothers split in May 1967 with all three members going solo. In 1967 he founded Gary Walker and the Rain, which consisted of Joey Molland (guitar and vocals); Charles "Paul" Crane (lead vocals, guitar); and John Lawson (bass guitar). As of 2019, owing to the death of Scott Walker, Gary is now the last surviving member of The Walker Brothers.
