Germán Coppini
Germán Coppini López-Tormos (19 November 1961 – 24 December 2013) was a Spanish singer-songwriter. He is regarded as one of Spain's most influential musicians of the late 20th century as well as one of the country's best lyricists. A leading figure of the Movida Viguesa, he was a founding member of Galician bands Siniestro Total and Golpes Bajos. Coppini started his musical career in Vigo in 1980 as the lead vocalist of the group Coco y los del 1.500, alongside guitarist Miguel Costas and drummer Julián Hernández. In 1981, Costas and Hérnandez changed the name of their other group, Mari Cruz Soriano y los que Afinan su Piano, to Siniestro Total, and added Germán as a vocalist, effectively dissolving their previous band. With Siniestro Total, Coppini released the EP ''Ayudando a los enfermos,'' (1981) their debut album ''¿Cuándo se come aquí?'' (1982) and the single "Sexo chungo / Me pica un huevo" (1983). Santander, Spain
Santander () is the capital of the autonomous community and historical region of Cantabria situated on the north coast of Spain. It is a port city located east of Gijón and west of Bilbao with a population of 172,000 (2017). A Santa Compaña
''A Santa Compaña'' is the debut studio album by Galician pop band Golpes Bajos, released on 30 July 1984 by Nuevos Medios. It was written by band frontman Germán Coppini and keyboardist Teo Cardalda. It was produced in Madrid and Barcelona by Luis Fernandez Soria, Cardalda, and guitarist Pablo Novoa. The album artwork depicts all four band members, wearing traditional Galician women's clothing, standing on a field of rocks, except for Coppini, who is sitting at their feet. Its title refers to the ''Santa Compaña'', a Galician folk myth. ''A Santa Compaña'' mainly features a sound that embodies Sophisti-pop, post-punk, new wave, as well as elements of Latin music. Fangoria are a Spanish electropop duo, consisting of Olvido Gara (a.k.a. Alaska, main vocals, occasional guitar), and Nacho Canut (keyboards, occasional bass guitar). Fangoria have sold 1 million records worldwide since 1989. History In 1977 Alaska, along with Nacho Canut and Carlos Berlanga, formed the band Alaska y los Pegamoides. Nacho Cano
Ignacio Cano Andrés (b. Madrid, 26 February 1963), better known as Nacho Cano, is a Spanish arranger, composer, musician and record producer. He and his brother showed an interest in music in their young lives. At 5, he began to play the Spanish guitar and at 12 he started his first band called "Prisma", with Toti Arboles and Eduardo Benavente, both of whom would later make up the core of the sociocultural movement that took place in Spain after Franco's death, known as the "Movida Madrileña".
