George Gilbey
George Gilby is an English reality television personality from Essex, known primarily for appearing in the Channel 4 series '' Gogglebox''. In 2014, he took part in the fourteenth series of '' Celebrity Big Brother'' where he reached the final. Career In September 2013, George made his first appearance in the Channel 4 reality series '' Gogglebox'' debuting in the second series along with his mother, Linda and now late father, Peter. The family were axed from the show in 2014 following George's decision to participate in the fourteenth series of '' Celebrity Big Brother'', where he entered on 18 August 2014 and reached the final on 12 September finishing fourth overall. In February 2016, George and his family returned to ''Gogglebox.'' In 2018, George left the show, however, his parents Linda and Pete continued on the programme without him until 2020. ''Gogglebox'' is a British reality television series created by Stephen Lambert, Tania Alexander and Tim Harcourt, and broadcast on Channel 4. The series documents families and groups of friends around the United Kingdom who are filmed for their observations and reactions to the previous week's television from their own homes. The first series launched on 7 March 2013, and the show began airing its nineteenth series on 18 February 2022. The show was narrated by Caroline Aherne from its launch until her death in July 2016, after which Craig Cash took over. The show has won numerous awards. ''Celebrity Big Brother 14'' was the fourteenth series of the British reality television series ''Celebrity Big Brother''. The series launched on 18 August 2014 on Channel 5 and ended after 26 days on 12 September. ''Celebrity Big Brother'' is a British television reality game show based on the Dutch show '' Big Brother'', created by producer John de Mol in 1997, which aired from 2001 to 2018.
