Gavin Lidlow
Gavin Lidlow (born 8 November 1972 in The Hague) is a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his country at the 2012 Vintage Yachting Games in Bellano Italy. Lidlow in the middle as tacktician together with helmsman Rudy den Outer and Ramzi Souli on the foredeck took the Silver medal in the Soling. During the 2012 Soling Europeans in Aarhus, Denmark as well as at the 2014 Soling Europeans in Saint-Pierre-Quiberon, France the same team took the 3rd place. Gavin holds several Dutch titles in the Soling. He is member of the Kralingsche Zeil Club in Rotterdam. Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls () is a group of three waterfalls at the southern end of Niagara Gorge, spanning the border between the province of Ontario in Canada and the state of New York in the United States. The largest of the three is Horseshoe Falls, which straddles the international border of the two countries. It is also known as the Canadian Falls. Rudy Den Outer
Rudy den Outer (born 22 July 1954 in Rotterdam) is a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his country at the 2008 Vintage Yachting Games – Soling, 2008 Vintage Yachting Games in Medemblik, as helmsman in the Dutch Soling ''Sophie's Choice''. Den Outer with crew members Leo Determan and Ronald den Arend took the Gold. In the 2012 Vintage Yachting Games – Soling, 2012 Vintage Yachting Games, this time with crew members Gavin Lidlow and Ramzi Souli the team took the Silver medal in Bellano, Italy. In 2003 with helmsman Fred Imhoff and Richard van Rij he became European Champion in the Dragon (keelboat)#Wall of Fame, Dragon at Kinsale, Ireland. Dirksland
Dirksland () is a village and former municipality on Goeree-Overflakkee Island in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The former municipality had a population of about 8,000 in 2007, and covered an area of about 74 km² of which about 19 km² was water. The former municipality of Dirksland also included the communities of Herkingen, and Melissant. On 1 January 2013, Dirksland merged with Goedereede, Middelharnis, and Oostflakkee into the new municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee. The North Sea flood of 1953 did not have as much of a destructive effect on Dirksland as the rest of the island, because Dirksland is somewhat higher. Soling National Champions
All over the world, national Soling associations held since 1968 national championships. In some counties the winner of the event became the national champion even if the winning team came from a different country, like the Netherlands, Sweden or the United States.
