Gavin Gwynne
Gavin Gwynne (born 25 April 1990) is a Welsh professional boxer who has held the Commonwealth lightweight title since February 2021, and the BBBoC British Lightweight title since April 2022. Professional career Gwynne made his professional debut on 23 July 2016, scoring a four-round points decision (PTS) victory against Joe Beeden at the Rhydycar Leisure Centre in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. After compiling a record of 7–0 (1 KO) he defeated Henry James on 15 December 2017 at the Merthyr Leisure Centre in Merthyr Tydfil, capturing the vacant Welsh Area lightweight title via PTS over ten rounds. Two fights later he faced Myron Mills on 27 October 2018 at the Newport Centre in Newport, Wales. Joe Cordina
Joe Cordina (born 1 December 1991) is a Welsh professional boxer who held the IBF super-featherweight title in 2022. At regional level, he held the British and Commonwealth lightweight titles between 2018 and 2019. As an amateur, he won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and gold at the 2015 European Championships, both in the lightweight division. The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) is the governing body of professional boxing in the United Kingdom. History The British Boxing Board of Control was formed in 1929 from the old National Sporting Club and is headquartered in Cardiff. Until 1948, it had a colour bar in effect by means of its Rule 24, which stated that title contestants "must have two white parents". The British Boxing Board of Control initially refused to grant Jane Couch a professional licence on the sole ground that she was a woman, and argued that PMS made women too unstable to box. Luke Pearce (born 13 November 1987) is a British rugby union referee representing the Rugby Football Union. He is a regular referee in the English Premiership and has refereed games at European level and at the 2019 Rugby World Cup. Refereeing career Pearce, who grew up in Exeter, joined the Devon Referee Society in 2005 at the age of 16.
