"Gata Only" is a song by Chilean singers FloyyMenor and Cris MJ. The solo version was released as a single on 21 December 2023 through UnitedMasters, with the duet version being released on 2 February 2024, serving as the lead single from the former's debut EP ''El Comienzo''. A remix version of the song was released on 7 June 2024, with the addition of Puerto Rican singer Ozuna and Brazilian singer Anitta and the absence of Álvarez. It was first written by the former in between live performances in his home country Chile, with another verse being written by the latter for the duet and production being handled by Big Cvyu. It is a reggaeton song, featuring upbeat rhythms, about going after a woman. A day after the collaboration was released, Álvarez announced that he had plans to delete it, replacing it with the solo version, after it received negative comments by users. Alan Felipe Galleguillos, known professionally as FloyyMenor, is a Chilean singer and songwriter. After self-releasing singles since 2022, he eventually gained international prominence with his hit single " Gata Only" with Cris MJ, where he released it through UnitedMasters. Life and career Galleguillos was born in Vicuña, Chile. He began uploading his songs onto YouTube in 2022, using cars and Fairly OddParents-inspired characters as his cover art for his singles. One of his friends showed one of Galleguillos' songs, "Pa la Europa", to producer Lewis Somes, who works for Chilean singer Pailita, and acknowledged it. The song later went viral and Galleguillos stated that he used little promotion for it. After releasing more singles, he released " Gata Only" in December 2023.
