Galin Ivanov (footballer Born 1975)
Galin Ivanov (born 6 April 1975) is a Bulgarian former football player and current football manager, who played both as a defender, as well as a midfielder. He made his name playing for CSKA Sofia in the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, making a brief jump to the MLS in 2003. He is currently assistant coach of Bulgarian Second League club Ludogorets Razgrad II. Playing career Club career Ivanov started his career in 1992 at his local side FC Dobrudzha Dobrich before being acquired by Bulgarian First League giants CSKA Sofia in 1996. He styed at the club until 2003, winning the Bulgarian First League Championship and Bulgarian Cup twice within a span of seven seasons. In 2003, Ivanov moved to the MLS signing a contract with D.C. United and joining up with compatriot Hristo Stoitchkov. Dobrich
Dobrich ( bg, Добрич ; ro, Bazargic, tr, Hacıoğlu Pazarcık) is the List of cities and towns in Bulgaria, 9th most populated city in Bulgaria, the administrative centre of Dobrich Province and the capital of the region of Southern Dobrudzha. Radoslav Metodiev Zdravkov ( bg, Радослав Meтoдиeв Здравков; born 30 July 1956) is a Bulgarian retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Club career Zdravkov was born in Sofia. During his professional career, which spanned nearly 20 years, he represented Lokomotiv Sofia, CSKA Sofia, Portugal's G.D. Chaves, S.C. Braga, F.C. Paços de Ferreira and F.C. Felgueiras – after he had left the Iron Curtain at the age of 30 – FC Yantra and PFC Litex Lovech. Lyuboslav Mladenov Penev ( bg, Любослав Младенов Пенев; born 31 August 1966) is a Bulgarian professional football manager and former player. Penev played as a forward for several clubs in Bulgaria and Spain. He started his career at CSKA Sofia in 1984, winning two Bulgarian League titles and four Bulgarian Cups. In 1989 he moved to Valencia, where he established himself as among the most prolific goalscorers in La Liga. After six seasons at Valencia, Penev joined Atlético Madrid, winning the 1995–96 La Liga. Stoycho Dimitrov Mladenov ( bg, Стойчо Димитpoв Младенов; born 12 April 1957 in Ploski, Blagoevgrad Province) is a Bulgarian former football player and manager. Career Mladenov started from small teams like Dimitrovgrad and gradually moved to bigger teams like CSKA Sofia. From there he went all around the world, however his best moments of winning were in Portugal and also with his National Team. His best years were spent as a striker for CSKA Sofia. He also served the club as a manager and head coach. Mladenov's nickname is "Liverpool's Executioner" in honor of his winning goals against the European champion Liverpool F.C. in UEFA European Champions Cup 1/4 finals in season 81/82. Hristo Stoichkov Stoichkov ( bg, Христо Стоичков Стоичков, ; born 8 February 1966) is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who is a football commentator for TUDN.
