Hebrew (; ; ) is a Northwest Semitic language of the Afroasiatic language family. Historically, it is one of the spoken languages of the Israelites and their longest-surviving descendants, the Jews and Samaritans. It was largely preserved throughout history as the main liturgical language of Judaism (since the Second Temple period) and Samaritanism. In geography, a bank is the land alongside a body of water. Different structures are referred to as ''banks'' in different fields of geography, as follows. In limnology (the study of inland waters), a stream bank or river bank is the terrain alongside the bed of a river, creek, or stream. The bank consists of the sides of the channel, between which the flow is confined. Stream banks are of particular interest in fluvial geography, which studies the processes associated with rivers and streams and the deposits and landforms created by them. Bankfull discharge is a discharge great enough to fill the channel and overtop the banks. The descriptive terms ''left bank'' and ''right bank'' refer to the perspective of an observer looking downstream; a well-known example of this being the sections of Paris as defined by the river Seine. Gal Gadot-Varsano ( he, גל גדות ; born 30 April 1985) is an Israeli actress and model. At age 18, she was crowned Miss Israel 2004. She then served in the Israel Defense Forces for two years as a combat fitness instructor, whereafter she began studying at IDC Herzliya while building her modeling and acting careers. Her first international film performance was as Gisele Yashar in ''Fast & Furious'' (2009), a part she reprised in subsequent installments of ''The Fast Saga''. Gideon Gadot
Gideon Gadot ( he, גדעון גדות, 1 April 1941 – 21 September 2012) was an Israeli journalist and politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Likud between 1984 and 1992. Biography Gideon Foreman (later Gadot) was born in Bnei Brak during the Mandate era. He attended the Mikveh Israel agricultural high school before studying sociology and communications at university in South Africa. He joined the Betar youth movement in 1951, and was a member of the organisation's national leadership between 1965 and 1968. During his time in South Africa, he acted as an emissary for the organisation. He worked as a journalist for ''Herut'', '' HaYom'', and '' Yom Yom'', before becoming head of the Herut party's spokesperson's section in 1977, working there until 1982.
