Frank Marsh (Nebraska)
Frank Marsh (April 27, 1924 – March 10, 2001) was an American politician who served as the 29th List of lieutenant governors of Nebraska, lieutenant governor of Nebraska from 1971 to 1975. A member of the Republican Party (United States), Republican Party, he also held the offices of Nebraska Secretary of State and Nebraska State Treasurer. Biography Frank Marsh was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on April 27, 1924. He served in the United States Army in World War II. Marsh received his bachelor's degree from University of Nebraska–Lincoln and was a contractor who also taught in the Lincoln Public School system. Marsh's father, Frank Marsh Sr. (1881–1951), served twice as Secretary of State of Nebraska (1927–1933; 1941–1951). Nebraska
Nebraska () is a state in the Midwestern region of the United States. Dave Heineman
David Eugene Heineman (born May 12, 1948) is an American politician who served as the 39th governor of Nebraska from 2005 to 2015. A member of the Republican Party, he previously was the 39th treasurer of Nebraska from 1995 to 2001 and 37th lieutenant governor of Nebraska from 2001 to 2005. The lieutenant governor of Nebraska is the highest-ranking executive official in the State of Nebraska after the governor. According to the Nebraska State Constitution, in the event a governor dies, becomes permanently incapacitated, resigns, or is removed from office, the lieutenant governor will become governor. The Farmers Home Administration (FmHA) was a U.S. government agency established in August 1946 to replace the Farm Security Administration. It superseded the Resettlement Administration during the Great Depression and operated until 2006. FmHA mission and programs involved extending credit for agriculture and rural development. Direct and guaranteed credit went to individual farmers, low-income families, and seniors in rural areas. Loans were authorized for housing, farm improvement, water systems, and emergency relief.
