Finnish Records In Athletics
The following are the national records in athletics in Finland maintained by Finland's national athletics federation: Suomen Urheiluliitto (SUL). Starting in 2016, Finnish indoor records superior to the outdoor record in the same event will be considered national records both indoors and outdoors. This rule only applies to records set in 2016 or later, and is not retroactively applied to older indoor records. Finland

Potchefstroom
Potchefstroom (, colloquially known as Potch) is an academic city in the North West Province of South Africa. It hosts the Potchefstroom Campus of the North-West University. Potchefstroom is on the Mooi Rivier (Afrikaans for "pretty river"), roughly west-southwest of Johannesburg and east-northeast of Klerksdorp. Weltklasse Zürich
Weltklasse Zürich ( en, World Class Zurich) is an annual, invitation-only, world-class track and field meeting at the Letzigrund in Zürich, Switzerland, generally held at the end of August or beginning of September. Previously one of the IAAF Golden League events, it now serves as a final of the Wanda Diamond League, alongside Memorial Van Damme between 2010 and 2019. In 2021, Welklasse Zürich will serve as the sole final of the Diamond League. One of the first large-scale international athletics events (outside the Summer Olympics), it is sometimes referred to as the one-day Olympics. Weltklasse Zürich first took place on 12 August 1928. Ari Suhonen
Ari Suhonen (born 19 December 1965 in Porvoo) is a Finnish former middle distance runner. Suhonen was the best Finnish middle distance runner during the late 1980s and the early 1990s and he still holds the national record in the 800 metres, 1.44,10, ran in Zürich , neighboring_municipalities = Adliswil, Dübendorf, Fällanden, Kilchberg, Maur, Oberengstringen, Opfikon, Regensdorf, Rümlang, Schlieren, Stallikon, Uitikon, Urdorf, Wallisellen, Zollikon , twintowns = Kunming, San Francisco Zürich ... on 16 August 1989. 800 Metres
The 800 metres, or meters ( US spelling), is a common track running event. It is the shortest commonly run middle-distance running event. The 800 metres is run over two laps of an outdoor (400-metre) track and has been an Olympic event since the first modern games in 1896. During the winter track season the event is usually run by completing four laps of an indoor 200-metre track. The event was derived from the imperial measurement of a half mile (880 yards), a traditional English racing distance. 800m is 4.67m less than a half mile. The event combines aerobic endurance with anaerobic conditioning and sprint speed, so the 800m athlete has to combine training for both. Runners in this event are occasionally fast enough to also compete in the 400 metres but more commonly have enough endurance to 'double up' in the 1500m. Lahti (; sv, Lahtis) is a city and municipality in Finland. It is the capital of the region of Päijänne Tavastia (Päijät-Häme) and its growing region is one of the main economic hubs of Finland. Mikko Antti Juhani Lahtio (born September 21, 1984 in Loppi) is a Finnish middle-distance runner, who specialized in the 800 metres. Lahtio represented Finland at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's 800 metres. He ran in the eighth heat against seven other competitors, including Cuba's Yeimer López and Algeria's Nabil Madi, who both reached into the final round. He finished the race in last place by thirty-two hundredths of a second behind Morocco's Yassine Bensghir, with a time of 1:47.20. Lahtio, however, failed to advance into the semi-finals, as he placed twenty-seventh overall and was ranked farther below two mandatory slots for the next round. Olli Turunen
Olli is a Dutch children's book character and a stuffed toy. The character Olli was created in 2004 by Dutch designer and film director Hein Mevissen and writer Diederiekje Bok as a character for a bottled mineral water. Olli was one of the many characters used on the packages and posters of the bottled water brand and John's Phone. Olli was launched at a party of MTV In Rotterdam in 2004. In 2013, Olli was again part of a campaign, this time to save the Rotterdam Zoo Diergaarde Blijdorp. Olli is part of the Ollimania family which is the company that created and owns all characters. After the launch, Olli became the symbol of Rotterdam and professional football club Feyenoord.
