Fernando Daniel Rodrigues Almeida (born 11 May 1996), known professionally as Fernando Daniel is a Portuguese singer-songwriter. He won the fourth edition of ''The Voice Portugal'' in 2016. Career 2014: Factor X He first appeared in the musical industry in 2014, on the Portuguese TV show ''Factor X'', which is the Portuguese version of the worldwide known music show ''The X Factor''. He auditioned on the second edition, alone, and was finally eliminated in the piano phase. However, the judges liked his voice and decided to join him together with Luana Ribeiro, another contestant who was eliminated in the piano phase. Estarreja
Estarreja ( or ) is a municipality in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 26,997, in an area of 108.17 km2. It had 22,746 eligible voters in 2006. The only city in the municipality is Estarreja, which is in the urban parish of Beduido. The city itself has a population of approximately 7,000. The participation of Portugal in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest first began at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in which took place in Bucharest, Romania. Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP), a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), were responsible for the selection process of their participation. Portugal used a national selection format, broadcasting a show entitled ''"Festival da Canção Junior"'', for their participation at the contests. ''The Voice Kids'' is the junior version of ''The Voice Portugal'', broadcast on RTP1, with competitors between the ages of seven and fifteen.
