Fenglin Subdistrict
Fenglin Subdistrict () is a subdistrict of Xinhua County in Hunan, China. The subdistrict was incorporated from a part of the former Shangmei, Hunan, Shangmei Town on November 6, 2017. It has an area of with a population of 53,600 (as of 2017). The subdistrict has nine villages and seven communities under its jurisdiction, its seat is ''Fenglinxincun Village'' (). Xinhua County
Xinhua County () is a county and the 4th most populous county-level division in the Province of Hunan, China; it is under the administration of Loudi City. Located along the middle reaches of the Zi River, it covers 3,635 square kilometers and has a population of 1,291,626 (2002). Xinhua shares the border with Lengshuijiang, Lianyuan, Xinshao, Xupu and Longhui counties and cities. As a county, it was founded at 1072 (Northern Song Dynasty) and now it is under jurisdiction of the Loudi City and subdivided into 7 townships and 19 towns, Shangmei is the county seat. Shangmei, Hunan
Shangmei Town () was a historic town and the former seat of Xinhua County in Hunan, China. The town was reformed through the amalgamation of ''Liaoyuan Township'' (), ''Beidu Township'' (), ''Fenglin Township'' () and ''Chengguan Town'' in 1995. The town was located in the south east of the county, it was bordered by the towns of Caojia and Youjia to the north, by Sangzi Town to the east, by the town of Shichongkou to the south, by Ketou Township and Luguan Town to the west. In 2017, additional 12 villages and a community from the towns of Caojia, Youjia and Sangzi and Ketou Township were transferred to it, it had an area of with a population of 189,600 (as of 2017). Sangzi, Xinhua
Sangzi Town () is a town of Xinhua County in Hunan, China. The town was reformed through the amalgamation of the three townships of ''Sangzi'' (), ''Pingxi'' () and ''Zhegu'' () in 1995. The town is located in the east of the county, it is bordered by Zuoshi Township and Tianping Town to the north, by Lengshuijiang City to the east, by the subdistrict of Fenglin and the town of Shichongkou to the south, by the subdistrict of Shangdu to the west.
