Fábio Rochemback
Fábio Rochemback (born 10 December 1981) is a Brazilian former professional association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. At different ends of his career, he represented both ''Grenal'' rivals of his home state of Rio Grande do Sul: Sport Club Internacional, Internacional and Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, Grêmio. He signed for FC Barcelona, Barcelona at 19 for €15 million but struggled, while he reached the 2005 UEFA Cup Final on loan to Sporting CP. He also spent three years at Middlesbrough F.C., Middlesbrough of the Premier League, and played in the 2006 UEFA Cup Final for them. Rochemback played seven games for Brazil national football team, Brazil, at the 2001 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2001 Copa América. Soledade
Soledade is a municipality in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The city is nicknamed the ''Cidade das Pedras Preciosas'' meaning the ''City of Precious Stones'' or ''Rare Gems''. Much of the amethyst sold in the world comes from the mines of Rio Grande do Sul near Soledade. Most of the factories in Soledade process and sell these stones internationally. As of 2020, the estimated population was 31,035. Its other famous export apart from its precious stones, is Fábio Rochemback who played football for Grêmio. Another notable citizen was Joaquim Mauricio Cardoso, a lawyer, professor, and politician. 2006 UEFA Cup Final
The 2006 UEFA Cup Final was a football match that took place at Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, Netherlands on 10 May 2006 as the culmination of the 2005–06 UEFA Cup. The match was contested by Middlesbrough of England and Sevilla of Spain. Both sides were making their first appearance in a European final; it was Middlesbrough's second season of European competition, while Sevilla had more previous experience in both the UEFA Cup and the European Cup. Both sides had qualified for the competition based on their domestic league positions the previous season, and entered in the first round. Estádio José Alvalade
Estádio José Alvalade is a football stadium in Lisbon, Portugal, home of Sporting Clube de Portugal. It was built adjacent to the site of the older stadium. The stadium is named after José Alvalade (1885–1918), the founder and first club member of Sporting CP in the early twentieth century. The 2004–05 UEFA Cup was the 34th edition of the UEFA Cup. The format of the competition had changed from previous seasons, replacing that from the previous one after the abolition of the Cup Winners' Cup in 1999; an extra qualifying round was introduced, as was a group phase after the first round.
