Fuglsø
Fuglsø (Danish for Birds Lake (Pronounced: fʊlsø)) is a minor town in Denmark placed in the national park of Mols Bjerge. It is mostly visited as a summer house place by people from Germany, Norway and Denmark. The municipality of Fuglsø is Syddjurs Municipality and it lies in the Central Denmark Region Settlement Not many people live in Fuglsø, which is because it's such a summer vacation city, although someone also spent the winter holidays there. A few farms such as Sølballegaard lies there, but are now for sale. The Fuglsøcenteret (Fulgsø Center) is the only hotel in Fulgsø. The Fulgsøcenteret used to be a gym owned by DGI, but they sold it in October 2011, but the Fuglsøcenteret still have a lot of sport events. Mols
Mols is a small Danish gathering of hilly peninsulas in the southern part of the larger peninsula of Djursland on the east coast of Jutland. The largest peninsulas of Mols comprise Skødshoved to the west, and Helgenæs to the east. Mols' largest town is Ebeltoft, a town on the coast, noted for its historical town centre. Some residents of Mols or Ebeltoft will argue that Ebeltoft is not a town of Mols. The usually accepted compromise is that Ebeltoft is the market town of Mols, although not geographically situated in present-day Mols. Hills in Mols rise to 137 metres, high by Danish standards. The highest points are Agri Bavnehøj (137 m), Trehøje (127 m) and Stabelhøjene (135 m & 133 m). In 2008 this hilly area, Mols Bjerge (''bjerge'' translates to "mountains"), was declared one of the first Danish national parks. Syddjurs Municipality
Syddjurs municipality is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Midtjylland in Denmark just north of Aarhus and is a part of the Aarhus area. It covers an area of 696.7 km² and has a population of 41,671 (1 April 2014). On 1 January 2007 Syddjurs municipality ("South Djursland") was created as the result of ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007), consisting of the former municipalities of Ebeltoft, Midtdjurs, Rosenholm, and Rønde. Central Denmark Region
The Central Denmark Region ( da, Region Midtjylland), or more directly translated as the Central Jutland Region and sometimes simply Mid Jutland, is an administrative region of Denmark established on 1 January 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish municipal reform. The reform abolished the traditional counties (''amter'') and replaced them with five new administrative regions. At the same time, smaller municipalities were merged into larger units, cutting the total number of municipalities from 271 to 98. The reform diminished the power of the regional level dramatically in favour of the local level and the national government in Copenhagen. The Central Denmark Region comprises 19 municipalities. Fregatten Jylland
''Jylland'' is one of the world's largest wooden warships, and is both a screw-propelled steam frigate and a sailship. She took part in the Battle of Heligoland on 9 May 1864, and is preserved as a museum ship in Denmark. Design She was built for the Royal Danish Navy in 1860 as a sailing frigate with an auxiliar screw-drive steam engine and a wooden hull. The figurehead was carved by the sculptor Julius Magnus Petersen and represents the region of Jutland in the form of the shepherd's rod and the fishing net. Glasmuseet Ebeltoft
Glasmuseet Ebeltoft is a museum in Ebeltoft, Denmark. It is dedicated to the exhibition and collection of contemporary glass art worldwide and also offers public demonstrations and seminars to glass students in its glass-blowing studio. Establishment The museum was founded in 1985 by Danish glass artists Finn Lynggaard and Tchai Munch. It is administered by the private Foundation for the Collection of Contemporary International Studio Glass. The museum makes its home in Ebeltofts's former Customs and Excise House; in 2006 a modern wing was added to the original building. In addition to exhibition spaces, the museum has a library, gift shop and cafe that are open to the public. Also in 2006 an enclosed garden and glass-blowing studio were added to the complex. Ree Park – Ebeltoft Safari
Ree Park – Ebeltoft Safari is a safari park in Djursland on the peninsula of Jutland, Denmark. The safari park is the home of more than 800 animals of 80 species from 5 different continents. This popular tourist attraction offers its guests a comprehensive insight in the life and behaviour of animals from Europe, Africa, North America, South America and Asia. History The zoo was founded in 1991 by Frans Kilde Hansen and was named Ebeltoft Dyrepark. Ebeltoft Dyrepark was sold 1993 to Lars Thye and the name was changed to Ebeltoft Zoo.
