Frankie Giorgi
Frank Sebastian Giorgi (born 22 September 1981) is an Australian-Italian Muay Thai kickboxer who competes in the middleweight division. Known for his boxing skills, Giorgi made a name for himself domestically by becoming a two-time Australian champion before emerging internationally in 2011 when he won his first world title and reached the final of the Thai Fight 70 kg/154 lb Tournament in Thailand. Unanimous Decision
A unanimous decision (UD) is a winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts and other sports involving striking and submission in which all three judges agree on which fighter won the match. In boxing, each of the three judges keep score (round by round) of which fighter they feel is winning (and losing). This only includes landed blows to the head or the body. In MMA, judges look for different criteria such as kicks, take downs, punches, knees, elbows, cage control, submission attempts and aggression. A decision is not required to be unanimous for a boxer or mixed martial artist to be given a victory. World Muaythai Council
The World Muaythai Council (WMC) is one of the oldest and the largest professional sanctioning organizations of Muaythai in the world for the sport. The organization was set up in 1995 by parliament resolution, and is incorporated by the Royal Thai Government and sanctioned by the Sports Authority of Thailand, under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
