Francesco "Frankie" Anthony Cena is a Canadian television presenter, musician and debate coach. He was born in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. He is known for being Mister World Canada in 2012, competing at Mister World that same year, and for later co-hosting multiple Mr. World and Miss World competitions. Early & Personal life Cena, born 1991, graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2013. He is an openly bisexual man. Career Mister World and Miss World Cena was selected to represent Canada at the Mister World beauty pageant in 2012, held in Torbay, England. Cena then hosted the 2014 edition of Mister World, interviewing contestants, judging the talent portion of the competition, and presenting at the finale. Tara Teng
Tara Teng (born August 16, 1988) is a Canadian former pageant winner. She was named Miss Canada in 2011 and Miss World Canada in 2012. During her title reigns she was an advocate for human rights and spoke about human trafficking. Early life and education Teng is the daughter of a Chinese Singaporean church pastor father and a European Canadian mother, and she was raised as a Christian. She was homeschooled until the age of 15. She received a Bachelor of Education from Trinity Western University (TWU). Teng spent four months studying at TWU's Laurentian Leadership Centre (LLC) in Ottawa, participating in the Laurentian Leadership Program. ''Sing On!'' is a 2020 reality gameshow streaming television series hosted by Tituss Burgess. It premiered on Netflix on September 16, 2020. Format Main game A team of six contestants performs a total of five songs that share the same theme. ''Canadian Idol'' is a Canadian reality television competition show which aired on CTV, based on the British show ''Pop Idol''. The show was a competition to find the most talented young singer in Canada, and was hosted by Ben Mulroney. Jon Dore was the "roving reporter" for the first three seasons (appearing in comedy skits throughout the show). Elena Juatco (a season 2 contestant) assumed the role for season four, Dave Kerr had the role in season five and Jully Black in season six. The show began with a cross-Canada tour in which singers audition in front of four judges: Jake Gold of Toronto, Sass Jordan of Montreal, Quebec, Zack Werner of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Farley Flex of Ajax, Ontario. Miss World Canada
The Miss World Canada contest is a Beauty pageant held annually in different incarnations since 1957 to select Canada's representative to the Miss World contest. In 2017 MTC-W Inc. obtained the exclusive rights to send the Canadian representative to Miss World, chaired since 2016 by former Miss World Canada 1996 Michelle Weswaldi. The annual pageant is held each summer in Toronto, Ontario, but in 2020 the national competition was held on November 7. This year was integrated for the first time the head-to-head challenge competition as part of the Miss World Canada 2020 selection process, where all the 44 candidates faced off in an interview round hosted by the former Mr. World Canada 2012, Frankie Cena , and the first winner ever in Canada is Aiona Santana.
