Frank Almaguer
Frank Almaguer (born 1945) is an American retired diplomat and career Foreign Service Officer. He has served in numerous positions with the Peace Corps, the United States Agency for International Development, the U.S. Department of State and the Organization of American States. Background Almaguer was born in Holguin, Cuba and grew up in Miami, Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Florida in 1967 and a Master of Science in government administration from the George Washington University in 1974. Career Almaguer served in the Peace Corps as a volunteer in Orange Walk Town, Belize from 1967 to 1969, as Associate PC Belize Country Director from 1974 to 1976, and as PC Country Director in Honduras from 1976 to 1979. The Senior Foreign Service (SFS) comprises the top four ranks of the United States Foreign Service.
