State Of Conviction
State of Conviction formed in 1996 and is an American hardcore punk band with a funk background. The band was spawned from the Unified Culture song "Convictions". State of Conviction released a split 7-inch vinyl with Schnauzer in November 1996. SOC's side was entitled "Thoughts Light Fires" (a tribute to Charles Manson). The band then released its album, ''A Call To Arms'' in 1997. The album has samples from the movies ''Natural Born Killers'' and ''Taxi Driver'', as well as samples from Charles Manson. Two tracks from the album, "Convictions" and "Abandoned", were originally Unified Culture songs. Dwid, from Integrity, does guest vocals on the tracks "Convictions", "Brink of Extinction", and "Faith Diminished". Meshuggah
Meshuggah () is a Swedish extreme metal band formed in Umeå in 1985. Originally, the band's name was Metallien. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist Jens Kidman, guitarists Fredrik Thordendal and Mårten Hagström, drummer Tomas Haake and bassist Dick Lövgren. Since its formation, the band has released nine studio albums, six EPs and eight music videos. Their latest studio album, '' Immutable'', was released in April 2022 via Atomic Fire Records. Integrity is a hardcore punk band originally from Cleveland, Ohio but based in Belgium since 2003. It was formed in 1988 by lead vocalist Dwid Hellion. The band plays punk, hardcore, and metal-related music, and has released nearly 50 recordings since 1988 as well as playing at hundreds of shows including numerous global festival appearances. Their sound is a mix of noise, punk, blues, hardcore and heavy metal, with influences including industrial, noise and experimental music. The Alter Boys
The Alter Boys is an American rock supergroup from Cleveland, Ohio. The band includes members of the bands Dog Fashion Disco, Polkadot Cadaver, Unified Culture, Mudfoot, Original Pranksta, Venomin James, and Mushroomhead. Also featured in the band was Ryan Dunn of the stunt show ''Jackass''. They play in various musical styles and released their first album, ''The Exotic Sounds of the Alter Boys'', in March 2005. They were signed to the Fractured Transmitter record label. However, in late February 2009, they were removed from the Fractured Transmitter site. Jason Jonathan Popson (born November 2, 1971) is an American vocalist and rapper for metal band Mushroomhead taking the stage name J Mann. Prior to his initial departure from the band he was identified by his face paint, which was based on the film ''Dead Presidents''. Since 2014, he has worn a mask like the rest of the band. Biography Popson left Mushroomhead in mid-2004 due to being overworked and his father's terminal illness. Though it was previously confirmed that Popson would be featured on Mushroomhead's new studio album '' Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children'', it was revealed in an interview with Mushroomhead's lead singer Jeffrey Nothing that he would no longer be on the album. Pitch Black Forecast is an American heavy metal supergroup formed in 2005 with a lineup consisting of Mushroomhead frontman Jason Popson and ex- Strapping Young Lad drummer Gene Hoglan and former Integrity bassist Steve Rauckhorst. Formed in Ohio back in 2005 under the name Absentee. They released their debut album '' Absentee'' in 2008 featuring guest contributions from Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe and Human Furnace of Ringworm. History Hoglan and Popson met back in 2004 while Jason was selling T-shirts for Meshuggah while they were on tour with Strapping Young Lad.
