Disengage (album)
''Disengage'' is the third album by American industrial rock band Circle of Dust, released in 1998. This is their final piece of material before entering an eighteen year hiatus. History Klayton began to work on the album soon after a brief departure from Angeldust, a music/magic project he and Criss Angel collaborated on together. After Circle of Dust's contract with R.E.X. expired, Klayton took the project to Flying Tart Records. Seven remixes for "Chasm" and "Refractor" were produced. Klayton intended to release the remixes on a single separate CD entitled ''Circle of Dust – Refractor/Chasm Remixes''; however, this attempt was shot down by the label and were instead inserted into the album. After completing ''Disengage'' and disbanding Circle of Dust, Klayton went on to work on his next project, Celldweller Celldweller is an American electronic rock project by multi-musician Klayton. Disen Gage
Disen Gage is a Russian rock band from Moscow. History The band was formed in 1999 by Yuri Alaverdyan and Konstantin Mochalov on guitars, Nikolay Syrtsev on bass guitar and Eugeniy Kudryashov on drums. Despite of having gained a certain degree of popularity in intellectual and student's communities, the band members decided to stop their musical activities: they were too busy pursuing their academic careers in the Moscow Institute of Bio-Organic Chemistry at the time. In 2004 their recorded material reached the RAIG music label, which released it as the band's debut album under the title ''The Screw-Loose Entertainment''. The album received positive reviews at many web sites, including Dutch Progressive Rock Page, Delusions of Adequacy (USA), In Rock (Russia), Grrove (Sweden), Splendid (USA), Progwereld (Netherlands), Art Rock Pl (Poland), Chaos Vault (Poland), and Mmusic in Belgium (Belgium), Nota-Bena (Russia), Impakte (Maroc). Straight Edge
Straight edge (sometimes abbreviated sXe or signified by XXX or X) is a subculture of hardcore punk whose adherents refrain from using alcohol, tobacco, and other recreational drugs, in reaction to the excesses of punk subculture. For some, this extends to refraining from engaging in promiscuous sex, to following a vegetarian or vegan diet, and to not using caffeine or prescription drugs. The term ''straight edge'' was adopted from the 1981 song " Straight Edge" by the hardcore punk band Minor Threat. The straight edge subculture emerged amid the early-1980s hardcore punk scene. Since then, a wide variety of beliefs and ideas have been associated with the movement, including vegetarianism and animal rights. While the commonly expressed aspects of the straight edge subculture have been abstinence from alcohol, nicotine, and illegal drugs, there have been considerable variations. Disagreements often arise as to the primary reasons for living straight edge. Although straight edge p ...
