Foton Toplanders
The Chery Tiggo Crossovers is a professional women's volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI). History The team debuted in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) during the 2014 Grand Prix as the original Foton Tornadoes. Heading to the 2020 season, the team was renamed to Chery Tiggo Crossovers. On March 10, 2021, the team announced it has joined the professional PVL. They became the first-ever volleyball champions in a fully-professional league when they won the 2021 PVL Open Conference title. Chery's former mother team, Foton Tornadoes would be reformed in 2023 and is due to play alongside with them in the 2023 Invitational Conference. International tournaments Chery Tiggo Crossovers has participated in various international tournaments as the original Foton Tornadoes. The Chery Tiggo Crossovers are a professional women's volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI). Ejiya Laure
Ejiya Cruz Laure (born March 20, 1999), better known as Eya Laure, is a Filipina volleyball player. She currently plays for UST Golden Tigresses volleyball team in the UAAP and Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Philippine Super Liga. She is a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. Personal life Laure is from a family of athletes. She is the daughter of Eddie Laure, a professional basketball player who earned the titles "The Dominator" and "The Bounty Hunter" in his stint in the PBA, and Jovie Laure. Her older sister, Ennajie Laure, is her teammate in the UST Golden Tigresses and plays as an outside spiker. His younger brother, Echo Laure, is a member of the boys' basketball team of NU. She finished taking BS Tourism at the University of Santo Tomas. Alina Joyce Bicar
Alina Joyce Bicar (born November 17, 1997) is a Filipina professional volleyball player currently playing for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Premier Volleyball League. Bicar played setter for and was a former captain of the UST Golden Tigresses. Volleyball career UAAP Bicar was a member of UST Golden Tigresses collegiate women's University team. In 2020, Bicar became the captain of the team in the UAAP Season 82 volleyball tournaments but later on, the tournament was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. PVL Alina Bicar was a member and Captain of BaliPure Purest Water Defenders in 2021. She left BaliPure in the then ongoing 2021 PVL Open Conference and signed for the Petro Gazz Angels. Ma. Shaya Adorador (born December 9, 1997) is a Filipino volleyball player. She played for the UE Lady Warriors in the UAAP women's volleyball tournaments. She is currently playing for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Premier Volleyball League. Career UAAP Adorador played for the UE Lady Warriors in the UAAP. She made her first appearance with the Lady Warriors in the UAAP Season 76, where they finished 8th place. In 2018, she played her final year with the Lady Warriors. PVL Adorador made her first appearance with the Foton Tornadoes Blue Energy in the 2018 PSL Invitational Cup. In 2020, joined the 2020 PSL Grand Prix with their new name Chery Tiggo Crossovers. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. 2023 PVL All-Filipino Conference
The 2023 Premier Volleyball League First All-Filipino Conference was the fourteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its fifth conference as a professional league. The tournament began on February 4, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. Formerly known as the Open Conference, the conference was rebranded as the "All-Filipino Conference" to better reflect the fact that the tournament's participation is restricted to Filipino players, including Filipino-Foreigners. Participating teams Venues This conference eyes hosting games again outside of Metro Manila such as in Lucena, Iloilo City, and Cagayan de Oro, just like in previous seasons from 2019 and prior. Pauline Marie Monique Mandanas Gaston (born August 27, 1997) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She played with Ateneo Lady Eagles collegiate women's University team. She currently plays for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Premier Volleyball League. Career Ponggay Gaston played for the Ateneo De Manila University collegiate women's University team alongside her sister Therese Gaston. Princess Anne Robles (born June 7, 1999) is a Filipino volleyball player. She played with NU Lady Bulldogs women's volleyball team. She is currently playing for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Premier Volleyball League. Volleyball career Robles became part of women's volleyball team of National University from 2018 to 2023. In 2019, Robles won best Server in the UAAP Season 81 women's volleyball tournaments. Jennifer Nierva
Jennifer Nierva (born November 8, 1999) is a Filipina volleyball player. She became part of the NU Lady Bulldogs in the UAAP from 2019 to 2023. Volleyball career Nierva joined the NU Lady Bulldogs in 2019 and she plays as the Libero of the team. In 2022, she won the Best Libero Award in the UAAP Season 84 volleyball tournaments and her team National University won the title after 65 years.
