Football Review
''Football Review'' (russian: Футбольное обозрение, Futbolynoe obozrenie) was a weekly sports telecast from the Soviet Union and later Russia, dedicated to the latest sports events at home and abroad. It was typically broadcast on Sundays with a half-hour format. It aired frequently during the European and World Championships, and less so in the winter break domestic championship of the USSR in 1992 — the championship of Russia. Broadcast premiere was held October 19, 1980. The audience were offered excerpts from six matches of the 28th round of the 43rd championship of the USSR. It was shown with 21 goals repeats. Over the years at shows were different leading and the most frequent was Vladimir Pereturin rarely Vladimir Maslachenko. In the 1990s it was temporarily renamed as ''Goal!''. Vladimir Ivanovich Pereturin (russian: Владимир Иванович Перетурин; 23 May 1938, Moscow – 22 May 2017, Moscow) was a Russian Soviet football player. He was winner of the Spartakiad of Peoples of the RSFSR (1959) and Master of Sports of the USSR. He was best known as a TV commentator and host of ' Football Review' and 'Goal!' Biography In 1955 Pereturin graduated from the Moscow 49th high school FONO (Frunze Board of Education). He started playing in the youth school of FC Dynamo Moscow. In 1956 head coach Mikhail Yakushin sent him to Dynamo reserves team, in which he played for two years. From 1959 to 1967 he played on a professional level, including 25 appearances in the Top League. Pereturin won the football tournament at the Spartakiad of Peoples of the RSFSR in 1959. Matvey Isaakovich Blanter (russian: Матве́й Исаа́кович Бла́нтер) (27 September 1990) was a Soviet composer, and one of the most prominent composers of popular songs and film music in the Soviet Union. Among many other works, he wrote the famous " Katyusha" (1938), performed to this day internationally. He was active as a composer until 1975, producing more than two thousand songs. Childhood and education Blanter, the son of a Jewish craftsman, was born in the town of Pochep, then in the Chernigov Governorate of the Russian Empire. He studied piano and violin at the Kursk Higher Music School. From 1917 to 1919, he continued his education in Moscow, studying violin and composition. "Lily Was Here" is an instrumental duet by English musician David A. Stewart and Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer. It was released as a single in 1989 from the soundtrack of the same name for the Dutch movie ''De Kassière'', also known by the English title ''Lily Was Here''. Candy Dulfer (born 19 September 1969) is a Dutch jazz and pop saxophonist. She is the daughter of jazz saxophonist Hans Dulfer.
