Vasylkivka ( uk, Васильківка; russian: Васильковка) is an urban-type settlement in Synelnykove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Vasylkivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Vasylkivka is located on the banks of the Vovcha River, a left tributary of the Samara, itself a left tributary of the Dnieper. Until 18 July 2020, Vasylkivka was the administrative center of Vasylkivka Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast to seven. The area of Vasylkivka Raion was merged into Synelnykove Raion. Economy Transportation Vasylkivka is connected by road with Pavlohrad, where it has access to the Highway M04 connecting Dnipro with Pokrovsk, and with Pokrovske, where the Highway H15 continues to Zaporizhia. Synelnykove Raion ( uk, Синельниківський район) is a raion (district) of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, southeastern-central Ukraine. Its administrative centre is located at Synelnykove. Population: . Pokrovske (urban-type Settlement)
Pokrovske ( uk, Покро́вське) is an urban-type settlement in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, east-central Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Pokrovske settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Pokrovske was first mentioned in historical documents in 1779. The settlement of Pokrovske got status of urban-type settlement in 1957. Highway M04 (Ukraine)
Highway M04 was a Ukraine international highway connecting Znamianka to Krasnodon on the border with Russia, where it continued into Russia as the A260. In Soviet times the M04 was part of the M21. The highway stretched through four oblasts and ended at the Izvaryne-Donetsk border checkpoint which is part of Krasnodon city (Luhansk Oblast). The section from Znamianka to Debaltseve was part of European route E50, and the section from Debaltseve to the Russian border was part of European route E40. On 28 April 2021, the M04 was decommissioned and merged with the M12 to form the new M30.
