FlowerChecker is a European company based in Brno, Czech Republic focused on plant identification. In addition to plants, FlowerChecker also focuses on the identification of mosses, lichens, and fungi. It was founded in 2014 by Ondřej Veselý, Jiří Řihák, and Ondřej Vild, at the time Ph.D. students. Features & Tools FlowerChecker offers two different solutions - FlowerChecker mobile app and Plant.id API. The FlowerChecker app was launched in April 2014 for Android and later that year for iOS. It requires users to submit photographs of the object they want to identify.
