Flavio Maestri
Flavio Francisco Maestri Andrade (born 21 January 1973 in Lima) is a Peruvian retired football player. He is nicknamed ''The Tank'' because of his large size. Throughout his career, he has played professional football for numerous teams in Peru, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, China, Chile and has also played for the National team. Club career When Flavio Maestri was 10 years old, his father, Edmondo Maestri Baroni, brought him to Sporting Cristal to try out. The youth coach at the time, Alberto Gallardo, admitted him into the club. When Flavio was 16, he signed his first professional contract with Sporting Cristal. At age 18 he debuted with the first team under coach Juan Carlos Oblitas in a match against San Agustin. He scored his first goal that same year in a match against Hijos de Yurimaguas. The 2003 Torneo Descentralizado (known as the Copa Cable Mágico for sponsorship reasons) was the eighty-seventh season of top-flight Peruvian football. A total of 12 teams competed in the tournament, with Sporting Cristal as the defending champion. Alianza Lima won its twentieth Primera División title after beating Sporting Cristal in the final playoff. Jorge Soto (footballer)
Jorge Antonio Soto Gómez (born 27 October 1971 in Lima) is a Peruvian retired footballer. He is the brother of footballers José Soto and Giancarlo Soto. Career Soto (Nicknamed "The Camel") is one of the all-time emblematic figures of Sporting Cristal. He has played over 500 games for his club and scored more than 170 goals, making him the highest goal scorer in the club's history. International career Soto has been capped regularly in the national team since 1992. He was also member of Peru's U-23 squad of 1992. Julio César de Andrade Moura, more commonly known as ''Julinho'' (born October 31, 1965 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil) is a retired football striker from Brazil, who obtained the Peruvian nationality. He played in various teams in Brazil but became famous playing with Peruvian team Sporting Cristal. Profile Julinho first played professional football for Vitória Futebol Clube (ES), team which he is a fan of, in 1982. He has played for several teams in Brazil including Flamengo, Avaí, Treze Futebol Clube and Fortaleza Esporte Clube. Nolberto Solano
Nolberto Albino "Ñol" Solano Todco (born 12 December 1974), commonly known as Nobby Solano, is a retired Peruvian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently the assistant manager of the Peru national football team, as well as the manager of the Peru Olympic football team. His talents in football range from accurate crosses to accomplished dead-ball skills and he traditionally played either on the right side of midfield, or as a right back during his career. Solano spent much of his career in the Premier League, where he is generally associated with Newcastle United.
