Field Operating Agency
This is a list of Field Operating Agencies (FOA) in the United States Department of the Air Force that are active. FOAs report directly to a functional manager in either the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force or the Air Staff (United States), Air Staff. FOAs perform field activities beyond the scope of any of the List of Major Commands of the United States Air Force, major commands. Their activities are specialized or associated with an Air Force wide mission. The Air Force Logistics Management Agency (AFLMA) improves agile combat support capabilities by generating enterprise supply chain solutions supporting logistics transformation through research, war games and literature. Kirtland Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base located in the southeast quadrant of the Albuquerque, New Mexico urban area, adjacent to the Albuquerque International Sunport.
