Feni Soccer Club was a Bangladeshi football club based in Feni. It was supposed to play in the Dhaka Senior Division Football League, the 3nd-tier league of the country, in 2018. 5,000 capacity Shahid Salam Stadium was their home ground. After 2018-2019 BCL season, the club has been relegated to Dhaka Senior Division Football League. The club was dissolved in 2017. History This Soccer Club, of Feni is commonly known as Feni Soccer Club, it is a professional football club that plays in Dhaka Senior Division Football League. It was established in Feni during 1988. They started their journey in major football league of Bangladesh in 2009 in the Bangladesh League which is now known as Bangladesh Premier League. Federation Cup (Bangladesh)
Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup, is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past. Most of the matches are played in the country's main football venue Bangabandhu National Stadium. The winner of the tournament earn the slot of playing qualifying round of AFC Cup. Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited Dhaka, founded in 1936 at Dhaka, is one of the oldest and one of the most popular football clubs in Bangladesh, with a support base in all parts of the country. The club currently plays in the Bangladesh Premier League. History The clubs journey began in Hazaribagh. Members of the famed Nawab family of Dhaka wanted to establish a local club for the youth. As a result, Muslim Sports Club came into being in 1927. Nine years later, with Khwaja M. Ajmal as its president, it was renamed Mohammedan Sporting Club, after its more renowned predecessor the Kolkata Mohammedan.
