Feni College
Feni Government College is a traditional higher education institute of Feni District of Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest educational institutions in southeastern Bengal. It is located in the heart of Feni City. History In 1918, various initiatives were taken to establish the college. In 1922, Khan Bahadur Bazlul Huq constituted a trustee board and since then the college was originally started. The member of this college birth of the first governing bodies were Khan Bahadur Abdul Aziz, Khan Saheb Maulabhi Bajlul Haque, Maulvi Abdul Khaliq, Maulvi Hasan Ali, Maulvi Abdus Sattar, Sarbaprayata Sriramani Mohan Goswami, Mahendra Kumar Ghosh, Kalicarana Nath, Shandip Roy, Sriguru Das Kor, Srikalijaya Chakraborty, Inayat Hazari, Birendra Bhattacharjee and Ambikacharan Rakkhit Roy Bahadu. Feni, Bangladesh
Feni ( bn, ফেনী) is a city in the Chittagong Division of south-eastern Bangladesh. It is the headquarters of Feni Sadar Upazila and Feni District. The city has a population of about 265,000, making it the 18th largest city in Bangladesh. Feni is the oldest municipality in this region, established in 1958. Feni District
Feni is a district located in southeastern Bangladesh. It was a part of the Greater Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Tripura. , the district's estimated population stood at 1,437,371, making it the ninth-most populous district in Chittagong Division. The administrative hub of the district is in Feni City, which also serves as the headquarters of Feni Sadar Upazila in the central section of the district. The original name of the district was Shamshernagar, which served as a mahakuma under the district of Noakhali (greater part), Comilla (few part) and Chittagong District (at rest) until 6 December 1984. Muhammad Shamsul Huq
Muhammad Shamsul Huq ( bn, মুহাম্মদ শামসুল হক; 12 October 1912 – 23 February 2006) was a Bangladeshi academic and minister. He served as an education minister in erstwhile East Pakistan, and became the Minister of Foreign Affairs four years after the independence of Bangladesh. Huq also served as vice-chancellor in both the University of Dhaka and University of Rajshahi. He was awarded the ''Ekushey Padak'' in 2003 by the Government of Bangladesh.
