Fengtai District
Fengtai District () is a district of the municipality of Beijing. It lies mostly to the southwest of the city center, extending into the city's southwestern suburbs beyond the 6th Ring Road, Sixth Ring Road, but also to the south and, to a smaller extent, the southeast, where it has borders with Chaoyang District, Beijing, Chaoyang District and Dongcheng District, Beijing, Dongcheng District. History The Western Han dynasty Prince Liu Jian and his wife were buried in Dabaotai village in southwestern Fengtai over 2,000 years ago. The tombs were discovered in 1974 and are now open to visitors at the Dabaotai Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum on Fengbo Road. In Qing Dynasty times, Fengtai was where the Imperial Manchu Army had its camps, trained, and held parades on festive occasions. Changxindian Subdistrict
Changxindian Subdistrict () is a subdistrict located on the west of Fengtai District, Beijing, China. It borders Lugouqiao Subdistrict to the northeast, Changyang Town to the southeast, and is enclosed by Changxindian Town around it. The subdistrict has a 2020 census populatoion of 85646. Changxindian (), the current name of the subdistrict, comes from two villages that existed in the region during Ming dynasty: Changdian and Xindian. Liuliqiao Subdistrict
Liuliqiao Subdistrict (), formerly known as Lugouqiao Subdistrict (), is one of the 14 subdistricts of Fengtai District, Beijing, China. It is situated on the north of Fengtai, south of Wangshoulu and Yangfangdian Townships, west of Taipingqiao Subdistrict, north of Fengtai Subdistrict, east of Babaoshan Subdistrict, and is contained by Lugouqiao Subdistrict (formerly Lugouqiao Township). Liuliqiao has a population of 223,304 as of the 2020 census. The subdistrict was previously known as Lugouqiao (), which was the native Chinese name of Marco Polo Bridge. Donggaodi Subdistrict
Donggaodi Subdistrict () is a subdistricts on the southeast of Fengtai District, Beijing, China. It is situated south of Nanyuan and Jiugong Townships, west and north of Jiugong Township, and east of Nanyuan Subdistrict. Dahongmen Subdistrict () is a Subdistrict (China), subdistrict on the east side of Fengtai District, Beijing, People's Republic of China, China. Xiluoyuan Subdistrict () is one of the 21 subdivisions of Fengtai District, Beijing, China. Taipingqiao Subdistrict
Taipingqiao Subdistrict () is a subdistrict located at the northern end of Fengtai District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Yangfangdian Subdistrict in the north, Guang'anmenwai and You'anmen Subdistricts in the east, Lugouqiao Subdistrict in the west, and has several exclaves inside of Lugouqiao Township. In 2020, it had a population of 74,275 residents. The name Taipingqiao () refers to a village in the region that predated the subdistrict. History Since the establishment of People's Republic of China in 1949, the land of what would become Taipingqiao Subdistrict had remained part of Lugouqiao Subdistrict for decades.
