Far Eastern Mega Tower
The Far Eastern Mega Tower () is a skyscraper located in Banqiao District, New Taipei, Taiwan. As of February 2021, it is the eighth tallest building in Taiwan and the tallest in New Taipei City. The height of building is , the floor area is , and it comprises 50 floors above ground, as well as 4 basement levels. Designed by Taiwanese architect Kris Yao, the building was completed in 2013. Banqiao District
Banqiao District () is a district and the seat of New Taipei City, Taiwan. It has the third-highest population density in Taiwan, with over . Until the creation of New Taipei City, Banqiao (then transliterated as Banciao or Pan-ch'iao) was an incorporated county-administered city and the former seat of Taipei County. Name origin The district's old name was ''Pang-kio'' (), which dates back to the Qing Dynasty during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1735 - 1796 AD). New Taipei City is a Special municipality (Taiwan), special municipality located in northern Taiwan. Kris Yao (; born December 1951) is a Taiwanese architect, and the founder and head architect at KRIS YAO , ARTECH in Taipei and Shanghai. Biography Yao was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan.
