Fabio Maggi (; born 30 January 1975) is a former professional tennis player from Italy. Biography Originally from Spain, Maggi began playing tennis aged seven. Maggi, who was coached by Jordi Vilaro, turned professional in 1995. On the ATP Tour he had main draw wins over top 100 players Kris Goossens and Stefano Pescosolido during his career. His only Challenger title came at Alpirsbach in 1997, over Stefan Koubek. Luciano Canepari
Luciano Canepari (; born 19 January 1947) is an Italian linguist. Canepari is a professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Venice, where he received his academic training. He developed a phonetic transcription system called ''canIPA'' , based on the official IPA. The ''canIPA'' consists of 500 basic, 300 complementary and 200 supplementary symbols. Tennis
Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. The object of the game is to manoeuvre the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. The player who is unable to return the ball validly will not gain a point, while the opposite player will. Tennis is an Olympic sport and is played at all levels of society and at all ages. Kris Goossens (born 20 February 1974) is a former professional tennis player from Belgium. Career Goossens entered into the ATP's top 100 for the first time in 1995, after making the semi-final of the Swedish Open and winning a Challenger event in Ecuador. His run to the semi-finals in Sweden including a win over world number 24 Jonas Björkman. Also that year, he played two Davis Cup singles rubbers for Belgium, against the Russian team. He lost both of his matches, to Yevgeny Kafelnikov and Andrei Chesnokov. He entered the main draw of seven Grand Slams but only once reached the second round. ATP Challenger Tour
The ATP Challenger Tour, known until the end of 2008 as the ATP Challenger Series, is a series of international men's professional tennis tournaments. The Challenger Tour events are the second-highest tier of tennis competition, behind the ATP Tour. The ITF World Tennis Tour tournaments are on the entry-level of international professional tennis competition. The ATP Challenger Tour is administered by the Association of Tennis Professionals. Stefan Koubek
Stefan Koubek (born 2 January 1977) is a retired tennis player from Austria. Koubek played left-handed with a double-handed backhand. His idol when growing up was Thomas Muster. Koubek won three titles, two of which came on hardcourts; despite this, he said his favorite surface was clay. Koubek reached the quarterfinals of the 2002 Australian Open and the 2002 Hamburg Masters, attaining a career-high singles ranking of World No. 20 in March 2000. Koubek tested positive for glucocorticosteroids at the 2004 French Open after receiving an injection for an injured wrist; he was subsequently suspended for three months.
