Cardiff
Cardiff (; cy, Caerdydd ) is the capital and largest city of Wales. It forms a principal area, officially known as the City and County of Cardiff ( cy, Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, links=no), and the city is the eleventh-largest in the United Kingdom. The 2007 Challenge Tour was the 19th season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. The tour started as the Satellite Tour with its first Order of Merit rankings in 1989 and was officially renamed as the Challenge Tour at the start of the 1990 season. Iain Pyman
Iain Pyman (born 3 March 1973) is an English professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Pyman was born in Whitby. He won the Carris Trophy in 1991, and played in a winning Jacques Léglise Trophy team the same year. In 1993 he won The Amateur Championship by defeating Paul Page after 37 holes at Royal Portrush, and was the leading amateur in The Open Championship at Royal St George's. He played in the Walker Cup at the end of 1993. Professional career Pyman turned professional in 1994. His career has fluctuated between seasons on the main European Tour and seasons on the second tier Challenge Tour. He has won eight tournaments on the Challenge Tour, more than any other player, but has not won on the European Tour. Nefyn & District Golf Club
Clwb Golff Nefyn Golf Club is a golf club based in Morfa Nefyn, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales. The course has 27 holes, with a view of the sea from every tee; nine holes are played on the world-famous "Point". It is set high on the sea cliffs of the narrow peninsula overlooking Porthdinllaen bay. This club is open to visitors all year round. Ian Woosnam ranks it among his favourites and holds the club record with a 67. The club was formed in 1907. The course added a further 9 holes in 1912 and a third set of 9 holes in 1933. The course was then made up of a front Ten with a choice of two back eight's. The peninsula holes were damaged by storms in 2013 damaging almost all the greens with salt water. The peninsula holes were closed for almost 18 months while the holes were redeveloped. This left nine new peninsula holes and a further two nine-hole loops which was reopened in April 2015. Jean-Baptiste Gonnet (born 28 September 1982) is a French professional golfer. Gonnet was born in Cannes. He turned professional in 2004 and played on the Challenge Tour from 2004 to 2006. He finished 17th in the 2006 Order of Merit to earn a place on the European Tour for 2007. He competed on the European Tour until 2013. His best season was his debut year in 2007, when he finished 90th in the Order of Merit. Sion Bebb
Sion Emrys Bebb (born 3 October 1968) is a Welsh professional golfer. Bebb was born in Church Village, Mid Glamorgan, and is the son of former Welsh international rugby player Dewi Bebb. He turned professional in 1986 and worked for many years as a club professional before forging a tournament career. He has struggled to establish himself on the top level European Tour and has visited qualifying school many times, successfully regaining his card in 2006 and 2007. Bebb first gained his card on the European Tour through the 2006 qualifying school, having spent many years on the second-tier Challenge Tour.
