F.R.A.N.K.
Frank Van Herwegen (born in Schoten, Belgium on December 10, 1970) better known as DJ F.R.A.N.K., sometimes DJ Frank, DJ F.R.A.N.K or Dj F.r.a.n.k. is a Belgian DJ and record producer with great number of charting hits in Belgium, and at times in the Netherlands, France and Finland. He started at 16, DJing at social events and worked as a record seller in Antwerp working for 4 years. In 1995, he opened a private DJ store with his a DJ colleague, AJ Duncan and DJed at DIXIES Brasschaat. His most lucrative period came when in the early 2000s, when he was included in the Belgian-German dance group The Underdog Project as the band's remixer. The 4-member band also included Craig Smart (singer), Crag Smart and Vic Krishna on vocals and AJ Duncan on keyboards. It released the commercially successful album ''It Doesn't Matter (album), It Doesn't Matter'' that reached number 2 in both German and Australian albums charts. Summer Jam (The Underdog Project Song)
"Summer Jam" is a song by German-Belgian dance music group The Underdog Project. Released on 24 July 2000 as the lead single from their album '' It Doesn't Matter'', the song was considered a big hit in Europe, peaking at #3 in both Germany and Portugal, #5 in Hungary, #10 in Austria, #14 in Italy, and #17 in Switzerland. After that, the single aired on some of the most popular radio stations in the US like WPOW in Miami and New York City's WKTU. "Summer Jam 2003", released in 2003, featured samples of The Sunclub's 1997 hit " Fiesta De Los Tamborileros" and was similarly successful, topping the charts in both Belgium and the Netherlands and reaching the Top 5 in Denmark, France, and Romania, the Top 20 in the UK, and the Top 40 in Sweden and Switzerland. Danzel
Danzel (born Johan Waem, 9 November 1976) is a Belgian musician, best known for his 2004 single "Pump It Up!" which reached the top 10 across Europe, including in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Romania and Switzerland. The single also reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart and 29 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart. Other singles released have failed to achieve the same level of success. Musical career "You Are All of That" was Danzel's first single, released by Ministry of Sound in late 2003. The Underdog Project
The Underdog Project is a German dance group which launched its first album, '' It Doesn't Matter'' in 2001. Their hits include "Saturday" (not to be confused with "Saturday Night"; this was not released until two years after the album had come out), " Summer Jam" and "Tonight". The band has four members: Vic Krishna (vocals), Craig Smart (vocals), DJ Frank (remixes) and AJ Duncan (keyboards). Career The band was formed when Canadian artist Vic Krishna was visiting Germany and had a jam session with Canadian singer Craig Smart and the production team of ToneDef and Triple S. It went well, so they started recording; mostly demo tapes, but also full-fledged tracks. When there was enough material for an album, ''It Doesn't Matter'' was the end result. The group's most popular track, " Summer Jam", was one of the biggest pop hits in Europe. At one point, it was on the rotation list of every pop radio station in Germany. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. The Official Finnish Charts ( fi, Suomen virallinen lista; sv, Finlands officiella lista) are national record charts in Finland compiled and published by Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. It is one of the three official charts, the other two being the Dutch Top 40 and the Mega Top 30. The difference is that these charts also include airplay data. The list is especially intended for the music industry and those who take an interest in charts.
