Accuracy International
Accuracy International is a British firearms manufacturer based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. The company produces the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare series of precision sniper rifles. The company was established in 1978 by British Olympic shooting gold medallist Malcolm Cooper, MBE (1947–2001), Sarah Cooper, Martin Kay, and the designers of the weapons, Dave Walls and David Caig. The founders were professional international or national sport shooters. Accuracy International's sniper rifles are used internationally in military units and police departments. Accuracy International went into liquidation in 2005, and was bought by a British consortium including the original design team of Dave Walls and David Caig. Precision Rifle Series
Precision Rifle Series (PRS) is an American long-range and precision rifle-based shooting sport derived from practical shooting. The series have a championship style where competitors collect points from 45 matches spread across nearly twenty U.S. states, and thereby are ranked across the nation. Top ranked competitors get to compete in the last match of the season which is the "Precision Rifle Finale". The number of active competitors has increased from 164 in 2012 to over 15,000 by 2020. The competition seeks to find a balance between speed and precision, and targets can both have known (KD) and unknown distances (UKD). Desert Tech
Desert Tech is a rifle manufacturer founded in 2007 as Desert Tactical Arms and later re-branded as Desert Tech in 2013. They are located in West Valley City, Utah. Its CEO, Nick Young, is the nephew of Paul Elden Kingston. As of May 2018 all of their firearms are rifles with a bullpup design. Desert Tech's motto is "Tomorrow's Weapons". They make three different styles of rifle, the SRS, HTI, and MDRx. Desert Tech's claim to fame is that all of their chassis are multi caliber and easily changeable from one caliber to another.
