Estonia Davis Cup Team
The Estonia men's national tennis team represents Estonia in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Estonian Tennis Association. History Estonia competed in its first Davis Cup in 1934–35. From 1945 to 1992, Estonian players represented the Soviet Union. 1935 International Lawn Tennis Challenge
The 1935 International Lawn Tennis Challenge was the 30th edition of what is now known as the Davis Cup. Due to increased political tensions in Europe, entries for the Europe Zone declined sharply, causing the Qualifying Round system to be scrapped. Only 11 teams would enter the Europe Zone, with 17 teams entering the qualifying rounds; while six would enter the Americas Zone, 4 in North America and 2 in South America. Estonia entered the tournament for the first time. In the America Inter-Zonal Final the United States received a walkover due to Brazil's absence, while in the Europe Zone final Germany defeated Czechoslovakia. The United States defeated Germany in the Inter-Zonal play-off, but would fall to Great Britain in the Challenge Round. 2022 Davis Cup World Group II
The 2022 Davis Cup World Group II was held on 16–18 September. The twelve winners from the World Group II will play at the World Group I Play-offs and the twelve losers will play at the World Group II Play-offs in 2023. Teams Twenty-four teams participated in the World Group II, in series decided on a home and away basis. The seedings are based on the Nations Ranking of 7 March 2022. The 1995 Davis Cup (also known as the 1995 Davis Cup by NEC for sponsorship purposes) was the 84th edition of the Davis Cup, the most important tournament between national teams in men's tennis. 115 teams entered the competition, 16 in the World Group, 25 in the Americas Zone, 29 in the Asia/Oceania Zone, and 45 in the Europe/Africa Zone.
