Esperanza Casteleiro
Esperanza Casteleiro Llamazares (born 18 December 1956) is a Spanish intelligence officer who has served as Director of the National Intelligence Center (Spain), director of the National Intelligence Center since May 2022. She was previously Secretary of State for Defense (Spain), Secretary of State for Defense from 2020 to 2022. Casteleiro has spent almost all of her career in the Spanish intelligence services, first in the Centro Superior de Información de la Defensa (CESID) and then in the National Intelligence Center (Spain), National Intelligence Center (CNI). Pegasus (spyware)
Pegasus is spyware developed by the Israeli cyber-arms company NSO Group that can be covertly installed on mobile phones (and other devices) running most versions of iOS and Android. Pegasus is able to exploit iOS versions up to 14.7, through a zero-click exploit. As of 2022, Pegasus was capable of reading text messages, tracking calls, collecting passwords, location tracking, accessing the target device's microphone and camera, and harvesting information from apps. The spyware is named after Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology. It is a Trojan horse computer virus that can be sent "flying through the air" to infect cell phones. Félix Sanz Roldán
Félix Sanz Roldán (born 20 January 1945) is a retired Spanish Army general and intelligence officer who served as Director of the National Intelligence Centre (CNI) from July 2009 to July 2019. He served as Chief of the Defence Staff (JEMAD) of the Spanish Armed Forces during the first government of prime minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (2004–2008). Sanz Roldán joined the Armed Forces in 1962 when he entered in the General Military Academy.
