Erman Toroğlu
Erman Refik Toroğlu (born 24 November 1948) is a Turkish former association football player, FIFA-level referee and, current pundit and sports columnist. Career Toroğlu earned his FIFA badge in 1989. The last arbitrated professional football game by Toroğlu was between Samsunspor and Fenerbahçe at Samsun 19 Mayıs Stadium in 1993–94 1.Lig season, ended 2–0, on 5 December 1993. Toroğlu started punditry, joining Turkish sportscaster Şansal Büyüka, in the weekly football review show "Maraton", aired at Show TV, in 1996. The program lasted 8 years until 2004, when the show was moved to Lig TV of Digiturk satellite television provider. Toroğlu quit Maraton in 2010. He had a short punditry spell at TRT in 2015. Personal life He married Şükran Toroğlu in 1974. They have two sons. They divorced in 2017. In 2022, he married lawyer Ezgi Yavuz, who is 34 years his junior. Show TV is a nationwide television channel in Turkey owned by Albayrak Holding since 2018, acquired from Sadık Albayrak which in turn seized from Ciner Media Group after Turgay Ciner was forced to sell due to tax debts. The channel replaces Cine5's now-defunct frequencies, and it was originally established by the Turkish businessmen Erol Aksoy and Haldun Simavi, although it were originally launched on March 1, 1991, when it commences its test transmissions. A year later, the channel moved its headquarters to Istanbul, Turkey, and were at the same time starting its official broadcasts. ''Habertürk'' (literally: "News Turkish"), abbreviated as ''HT'', was a high-circulation Turkish newspaper. It was established on March 1, 2009 by Ciner Media Group, drawing on the brand of Ciner's Habertürk TV. It ceased publication on 5 July, 2018. Digiturk is a Turkish satellite television provider founded in 1999, with services starting in mid-2000. They provide both national television channels and their own channels, national radio, and music streams of different genres.
