Show TV
Show TV is a nationwide television channel in Turkey owned by Albayrak Holding since 2018, acquired from Sadık Albayrak which in turn seized from Ciner Media Group after Turgay Ciner was forced to sell due to tax debts. The channel replaces Cine5's now-defunct frequencies, and it was originally established by the Turkish businessmen Erol Aksoy and Haldun Simavi, although it were originally launched on March 1, 1991, when it commences its test transmissions. A year later, the channel moved its headquarters to Istanbul, Turkey, and were at the same time starting its official broadcasts. Show TV extended its range of viewers by adding more channels like Show Max and Show Turk to its group. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. Ferhat Göçer (born 11 May 1970) is a Turkish pop singer, songwriter and physician. Born to a family with Kurdish origin as the eldest son of his parents, Göçer was born in Birecik and raised in İzmit. At his parents' request, he started his education at the age of 4. Written by Meral Okay and Yılmaz Şahin, it is based on the life of Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, the longest-reigning Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and his wife Hürrem Sultan, a slave girl who became the first Ottoman Haseki Sultan. ''Adını Feriha Koydum'' ( en, "I named her Feriha") is a Turkish television drama series which was first broadcast on Show TV from 14 January 2011 to 29 June 2012. A rebooted version aired from September 7 to December 14, 2012. It follows housekeeper Feriha Yilmaz (Hazal Kaya), a young woman from a poor background and the daughter of Zehra Yılmaz ( Vahide Percin); and Rıza Yılmaz ( Metin Çekmez), a doorman.
