Digiturk
Digiturk is a Turkish satellite television provider founded in 1999, with services starting in mid-2000. They provide both national television channels and their own channels, national radio, and music streams of different genres. Digiturk is also the current owner of the broadcasting rights of Süper Lig. In addition to Turkey, Digiturk offers its television service throughout Europe, mainly for members of the Turkish diaspora. Reportedly, they have over 3.5 million subscribers worldwide. Digiturk's service is provided from Eutelsat 7A, positioned some 35 degrees west of the more traditionally used Türksat, and is encrypted via Cryptoworks (2000–2011) and Irdeto (2011–present) conditional access systems. BeIN Sports (Turkish TV Channel)
beIN Sports Turkey is a Turkish network of sports channels owned by beIN Media Group and operated by Digiturk. It is the Turkish version of the global sports network beIN Sports. History In 2000, it was purchased by Mehmet Emin Karamehmet under the name Işık TV for the Digiturk platform. In 2001, its name was changed to Lig TV by Mehmet Emin Karamehmet and Şansal Büyüka. In 2017, the name was changed again to beIN Sports by beIN Media Group. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), also known as Trendyol Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Turkey and the highest level of the Turkish football league system. In the 2023–2024 season, twenty clubs compete, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promotion and relegation, promoted from, and another four relegated to the TFF First League, 1. Lig.
