Endaro Mahanubhavulu
''Endaro Mahanubhavulu'' is a popular ''Kriti (music), kriti'' in Carnatic music composed by Tyagaraja, one of the Trinity of Carnatic music. Its lyrics are in Telugu language, Telugu; the music is set in the Sri Ragam and is in Aadi Talam. It is among the ''Pancharatna Kritis'' ("five gems") of Tyagaraja. Etymology The word ''Mahānubhāvulu'' is made up of two Sanskrit words, ''mahát'' and ''anubhava''. ''Kriti'' (Sanskrit: कृति, ''kṛti'') is a format of musical composition typical to Carnatic music. ''Kritis'' form the mental backbone of any typical Carnatic music concert and is the longer format of Carnatic song. "Kriti" also means Creation. Tumburu ( sa, तुम्बुरु, translit=Tuṃburu) is the foremost among the gandharvas, the celestial musicians of Hindu mythology. Prahlada () is an asura king in Hindu mythology. He is known for his staunch devotion towards the preserver deity, Vishnu.
