Empire International Pictures (aka Empire Entertainment) was an American small-scale theatrical distribution company. Charles Band formed Empire in 1983, prompted by his dissatisfaction with distributors' handling of films made by his previous business, Charles Band International Productions. Empire produced and distributed a number of low-budget horror and fantasy feature films, including '' Re-Animator'', ''Troll'', '' Ghoulies'', ''Trancers'', and '' From Beyond''. Trans World Entertainment was an American independent production and distribution company which produced a low-to-medium budget films mostly targeted for home-video market. In the early 1990s, the company became embroiled in the Credit Lyonnais banking scandal in Hollywood and was foreclosed on by the bank and subsequently folded into Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) for sale. Giove, Umbria
Giove is a '' comune'' in the province of Terni (Umbria, central Italy). History The first reference in a historical document which mentions the ''Castel di Juvo'', including its location overlooking the Tiber Valley, dates to 1191. The castle was part of lands fought over by the lords of Alviano and the Roman Catholic Church. In 1481 Pope Sixtus IV gave the fief of to Lucrezia Appiani of Aragon, widow of Pino III Ordelaffi. The castle and lands are purchased by the Farnese family in 1514.
