Edmundo Alves de Souza Oliveira (born 2 April 1971), better known simply as Edmundo, is a Brazilian football pundit and retired footballer who played as a forward. Edmundo Farolán (d. Jan. 29, 2023) is a Filipino-Canadian author. He won literary awards as a young writer-scholar while studying philosophy and letters in Madrid in the 1960s. He taught English, Spanish, and Media in various universities, including Webster University Thailand, University of Silesia (Czech Republic), Dalian University (China), University of Toronto, University of Alberta and Corpus Christi College. Edmundo Ros OBE, FRAM (7 December 1910 – 21 October 2011), born Edmund William Ross, was a Trinidadian-Venezuelan musician, vocalist, arranger and bandleader who made his career in Britain. Edmundo Jarquín (born in Ocotal, September 1946) is a Nicaraguan politician. He was the vice presidential running-mate of Herty Lewites, who was the presidential candidate for the Sandinista Renovation Movement (MRS) in the 2006 elections until his death on July 2, 2006. Jarquín then became the presidential candidate for the MRS. He chose Carlos Mejía Godoy to be his running mate. Jarquin finished in fourth place during the 2006 elections, receiving 6.29% of the vote. Edmundo O'Gorman (24 November 1906 in Mexico City – 28 September 1995 in Mexico City) was a Mexican writer, historian and philosopher.
