Eckart Witzigmann
Eckart Witzigmann is an Austrian chef. After his chef-apprenticeship in the Hotel Straubinger in Bad Gastein (1957–60), Witzigmann moved on to numerous positions in prestigious restaurants around the world, among others as a student of Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France. His work in Germany began in 1970 at the Munich restaurant ''Tantris'' designed by the architect Justus Dahinden. On 19 November 1978, he became the first German-speaking chef (and the third, outside France) to receive the esteemed three stars from the French Michelin Guide for his Munich restaurant ''Aubergine'' which he had opened one year previously. In 1994, he sold the ''Aubergine''. In the same year, he received the rare award ''chef of the century'' from the Gault Millau guide. Paul Bocuse
Paul Bocuse (; 11 February 1926 – 20 January 2018) was a French chef based in Lyon who was known for the high quality of his restaurants and his innovative approaches to cuisine. A student of Eugénie Brazier, he was one of the most prominent chefs associated with the ''nouvelle cuisine'', which is less opulent and calorific than the traditional '' cuisine classique'', and stresses the importance of fresh ingredients of the highest quality. Justus Dahinden
Justus Dahinden (18 May 1925 - 11 April 2020) was a Swiss architect, teacher and writer about architecture. Life Dahinden was born in Zürich. From 1945 to 1949, he studied architecture at ETH Zürich (ETHZ), graduating in 1956 with his PhD. In 1955 he started his own architecture office in Zürich. In 1974 Justus Dahinden became Professor of Architecture at TU Wien School of Architecture, Vienna University of Technology. Gault Millau
Gault et Millau is a French restaurant guide. It was founded by two restaurant critics, Henri Gault and Christian Millau in 1965. Points system Gault Millau rates on a scale of 1 to 20, with 20 being the highest. Restaurants given below 10 points are rarely listed. The points are awarded based on the quality of the food, with comments about service, price or the atmosphere of the restaurant given separately. Joël Robuchon (, 7 April 1945 – 6 August 2018) was a French chef and restaurateur. He was named "Chef of the Century" by the guide Gault Millau in 1989, and awarded the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (France's best worker) in cuisine in 1976. Frédy Girardet (born 17 November 1936) is a Swiss chef who cooks in the French tradition.
