ETAP Lighting is a Belgian company manufacturing lighting and located in Malle. President of the Board is Christ'l Joris, who is also president of Agoria Flanders and of Flanders Investment and Trade. History The company started with the production of ship's lighting in Antwerp in 1949. In 1960 the company moved to Malle in the Flemish Campine region. Malle () is a municipality located in the Campine region of the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the villages of Oostmalle and Westmalle. In 2021, Malle had a total population of 15,620. The total area is 51.99 km2. Christ'l Joris (born Antwerp, Belgium, 17 July 1954) is a Belgian businesswoman. She is the President of the Board of ETAP Lighting, president of Agoria Flanders and of Flanders Investment and Trade. Christ'l Joris is a daughter of Norbert Joris, founder of the ETAP group of companies. Christ'l Joris obtained a master's degree in psychology and a PhD in social and cultural anthropology at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven ( Leuven). She started her career in Academia and the non-profit sector in mental healthcare. She also worked for the King Baudouin Foundation on programs for environmental care and economics.
