Agoria, previously known as Fabrimetal, is a Belgian employers' organization and member of the Federation of Belgian Enterprises. Description Agoria connects over 1900 technologically inspired companies active in Belgium (2019) that strive for progress based on the development or application of innovations. Their goal is to increase the success of their member companies and assure their environmental sustainability. History Fabrimetal, short for the Federation of Enterprises in the Metal Industry (Dutch: Federatie van de ondernemingen der metaalwerkende nijverheid, French: Fédération des entreprises de l'industrie des fabrications métalliques, Fabrimétal), was established in 1946 on the foundations of the Federation of Manufacturers (Dutch: Federatie van Fabrikanten, French: Fédération des constructeurs), founded in 1906. Christ'l Joris (born Antwerp, Belgium, 17 July 1954) is a Belgian businesswoman. She is the President of the Board of ETAP Lighting, president of Agoria Flanders and of Flanders Investment and Trade. Christ'l Joris is a daughter of Norbert Joris, founder of the ETAP group of companies. Christ'l Joris obtained a master's degree in psychology and a PhD in social and cultural anthropology at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven ( Leuven). John Cordier
John Cordier (Oudenburg, 1 September 1941- Bonheiden, 22 January 2002) was a Belgian businessman. He founded Telindus in 1969, a modem and network component company. In October 1999 he succeeded Julien De Wilde as President of the board of directors of Agoria. John Cordier was also very active in supporting sports, he served as President of the Belgian football club K.V. Mechelen for eleven years from 1982 to 1993.
