Extreme Ops
''Extreme Ops'' is a 2002 action thriller film directed by Christian Duguay, written by Michael Zaidan, Timothy Scott Bogart, and Mark Mullin, and starring Devon Sawa, Bridgette Wilson-Sampras, Rupert Graves, and Rufus Sewell. The film's plot centers around a commercial director and three extreme sports enthusiasts who go on their trip to the Alps for a seasonal practice and stunt filming. They are unaware that they are filming on the same location which is actually a hideout of Serbia's most wanted war criminal, Slobodan Pavlov. Pavlov and his henchmen soon find out that the enthusiasts had been watched by the group and rush swiftly to kill the witnesses. Christian Duguay (director)
Christian Duguay (born March 30, 1956) is a Canadian film director. Career Duguay graduated from the Film Production program of Concordia University, in 1979. That year, his film ''Piece Interrompue Pour Piano Sauvage'', together with Harold Trépanier, took the Best Cinematography award at the 11th Canadian Student Film Festival. He began his professional career as a cameraman and jack-of-all-trades, working in documentaries, commercials and music videos. He became known as an expert with the Steadicam and shot many movies of the week in the United States. He is best known for directing the action films '' Screamers'' (1995) starring Peter Weller and Roy Dupuis and ''The Art of War'' (2000) starring Wesley Snipes and Michael Biehn. Heinrich Schmieder
Heinrich Schmieder (14 February 1970 – 21 July 2010) was a German actor. Life Heinrich Schmieder was the son of Albanian- Banatdeutsch immigrants. From 1991-1994 he studied acting at the private Zinner Studio in Munich. From 1999 to 2001, Schmieder had the role of the Commissioner Tobias von Sachsen in the TV series Tatort broadcast by Radio Bremen. He appeared alongside Heino Ferch and Sebastian Koch in the internationally successful 2001 TV movie ''The Tunnel'' in the role of Theo Lohmann. In 2003 he was nominated for a German Television Award for best actor. In 2004 he was directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel in the role of Rochus Misch in the Oscar-nominated film '' Downfall''. He joined the German Film Academy in 2005. Schmieder was found dead on 21 July 2010, at the age of 40, by his teammate, in a hotel in Livigno, Italy, while participating in the Bike Transalp.
