Eva Terčelj
Eva Terčelj (born 21 January 1992) is a Slovenian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2007. She won five medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold (K1: 2019), a silver (K1 team: 2022) and three bronzes (Kayak cross: 2023; K1 team: 2010, 2013). She also won a gold and a silver medal at the European Championships. Terčelj competed at two Olympic Games. She finished in 13th place in the K1 event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London after being eliminated in the semifinal. She also competed in the K1 event at the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, finishing 24th after, once again, being eliminated in the semifinal. 2012 European Junior And U23 Canoe Slalom Championships
The 2012 European Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Solkan, Slovenia from 6 to 9 September 2012 under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA). It was the 14th edition of the competition for Juniors (U18) and the 10th edition for the Under 23 category. A total of 19 medal events took place. No medals were awarded for the junior women's C1 team event due to low number of participating countries. Bežigrad Gymnasium ( sl, Gimnazija Bežigrad) is a selective coeducational state secondary school for students aged between 15 and 20. Canoeing At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Women's Slalom K-1
The women's K-1 slalom canoeing event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place on 25 and 27 July 2021 at the Kasai Canoe Slalom Course. 27 canoeists from 27 nations competed. Background This was the ninth appearance of the event, having previously appeared in every Summer Olympics with slalom canoeing: 1972 and 1992 to 2016. The women's K-1 canoe slalom competition at the 2012 Olympic Games in London took place between 30 July and 2 August at the Lee Valley White Water Centre. The gold medal was won by Émilie Fer from France. Competition format In the heats, each competitor had two runs; the 15 athletes with the best time qualified for the semi-finals. Each semi-final consisted of one run each and the best 10 qualified for the final. The final was also one run where the canoeist with the best time won the gold medal.
