Ettore Ceresoli
Ettore Ceresoli (born 11 April 1970) is a retired Italian high jumper. Biography He finished eighth at the 1995 IAAF World Indoor Championships, 1995 World Indoor Championships and tenth at the 1998 European Indoor Championships in Athletics, 1998 European Indoor Championships. He also competed at the 1994 European Indoor Championships in Athletics, 1994 European Indoor Championships without reaching the final. He became Italian high jump champion in 1993 and 1995, rivalling with Roberto Ferrari (athlete), Roberto Ferrari. He also became indoor champion in 1995 and 1998. His personal best jump is 2.26 metres, achieved in September 1995 in Rome. He had 2.28 metres on the indoor track, achieved at the 1995 World Indoor Championships in Barcelona, he has 11 caps in Italy national athletics team, national team from 1992 to 1998. Italian Athletics Championships
The Italian Athletics Championships ( it, Campionati italiani assoluti di atletica leggera) are the national championships in athletics, organised every year by the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera. The first edition, four races only, was held in 1906 at Arena Civica in Milan, just after the foundation of the Federazione Podistica Italiana and with the organization of ''La Gazzetta dello Sport''. Since then, 110 editions were held with the only exceptions of the years 1915-1918 and 1944. During 1945, only athletes of Northern Italy could participate but FIDAL considered this edition as an official one. To the running races, in 1913 the field events were added.
